Certifications & Assessments

On Mission’s team has assessed organizations in the U.S. and all across the globe. Our third-party reporting provides leaders with objective, synthesized results, best practices, and feedback from survey and interview participants. These reports highlight organizational strengths as well as areas of growth, showing progress over time. 

On Mission Certified: Mission Alignment Assessment

On Mission Certified organizations have gone through the robust Mission Alignment Assessment process and are observed to have a HIGH likelihood of staying on Mission. This opinion is valid for up to two years or the next leadership transition, if one happens within two years of the evaluation.

On Mission Assessed: Nonprofit Organizational Assessment

On Mission Assessed organizations have gone through On Mission’s Nonprofit Organizational Assessment.  

The Nonprofit Organizational Assessment evaluates a nonprofit’s level of development relative to best practices for Christ-centered nonprofits. Organizations may also use the “On Mission Assessed” seal if they undertake the Mission Alignment Assessment, but do not yet score “High.”

Mission Alignment Assesssments

On Mission’s Mission Alignment Assessment offers gives opinion on the organization’s overall likelihood of staying on Mission, avoiding Mission drift from its Christian focus. This assessment builds off of foundational nonprofit best practices assessment in the Nonprofit Organizational Assessment. Organizations earning a high score on this assessment will receive the On Mission Certification seal.

Nonprofit Organizational Assessments

 On Mission’s Nonprofit Organizational Assessment is designed for organizations interested in learning best practices for Christian nonprofits. This report gives opinion on the organization’s level of development which will serve as the foundation for advancing its Mission. Organizations with this assessment will receive the On Mission Assessed seal.

Through a thorough document review, we help organizations understand the strength of documentation and policies in place to help define, protect, and champion the Mission.
